New Challenger Arises
There was one major Republican winner on election day and that was Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. His blowout victory, coupled with historic Republican turnout across his state shot DeSantis into immediate consideration for 2024. DeSantis shot up 11 points in polls for the 2024 presidential and Trump fell 9 points, cutting Trump’s lead by 20 points in the matter of a few days.
