The subject line reads, “Ron DeSantis: Should I Run For President?” The email itself includes DeSantis’ official logo and a photo of the governor. But when you scroll down to read the fine print it becomes apparent that this email is not from team DeSantis at all, but rather that of Donald J. Trump for President 2024. It seems the Trump campaign has discovered that DeSantis is quite the popular fellow among Republican these days and wants to cash in. In the fine print, the email reads, “Trump JFC is a joint fundraising committee based on behalf of Donald J. Trump for President 2024 and Save America. Joint fundraising proceeds shall be allocated among the committees as follows: 99% to Donald J. Trump for President 2024, 1% to Save America.”
