Rep. Nancy Mace had a spicy tale to share at Sen. Tim Scott’s prayer breakfast on Capitol Hill on Wednesday. She revealed how her fiancé tried to tempt her to stay in bed, but she was determined to make it to the breakfast on time. Talk about dedication, but maybe it wasn’t the best setting to talk about her sex life.

Mace stated:

“When I woke up this morning at 7, I was getting picked up at 7:45, Patrick, my fiance, tried to pull me by my waist over this morning in bed. And I was like, ‘No, baby, we don’t got time for that this morning,'” Mace remarked.

“I gotta get to the prayer breakfast, and I gotta be on time,”

Sen. Scott, who is not only a 2024 presidential candidate but also a host of the 13th Annual South Carolina Prayer Breakfast, emphasized the importance of faith in the American experience and shared some profound truths from Scripture.

In a refreshing twist, Scott pointed out that despite their political differences, they managed to keep things civil for the past 13 years, and they planned to continue doing so. It’s like a political ceasefire, all in the name of celebrating faith and South Carolina without getting hung up on red or blue, black or white. They’re all just coming together to rejoice in the risen Savior and the privilege of living in a country where that’s possible. Amen to that!
