President Joe Biden signed a new executive order on Friday which is designed to strengthen the federal government’s backing of construction worker unions.

The Details: The new order will require the use of project labor agreements (PLAs) on federal construction projects which are over $35 million.

‘The executive order I’m going to sign today is going to help ensure that we build a better America, we build it right, and we build it on time, and we build it cheaper than it would have been otherwise,’ Biden claimed.

Biden had previously vowed that his massive infrastructure bill would result in good union jobs that would benefit working class Americans.
