Officials from Russia’s Space Agency and NASA are both attempting to secure a pair of deals which would continue cooperation between the two countries on space missions, especially work on the international space station, going forward. Regardless of the outcome, the longtime US-Russia arraignment in space may be coming to a natural end anyway, with NASA now looking more toward private sector actors, like Elon Musk’s Space X, for assistance with its upcoming endeavors.
