President Biden has decided that he will skip visiting the U.S.-Mexico border when he visits Arizona on Tuesday, saying that there are ‘more important things.’ Biden made the comments to reporters outside of the White House before boarding Marine One on Tuesday. During his time in office, Biden has never visited the border despite the ongoing crisis and record number of illegal immigrants coming across everyday.
“Why go to a border state and not visit the border?” Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked.
Biden responded:
“Because there are more important things going on. They’re going to invest billions of dollars in a new enterprise.”
