Potential jurors have been ordered to report to a Fulton County courthouse.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the grand jury will be part of a probe into former President Donald Trump’s alleged actions to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results.

Trump lost the election by about 12,000 votes and became the first Republican presidential candidate to lose the state in nearly three decades.

His efforts to buy time to investigate potential fraud included calls to Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who oversees elections in the state. White House officials also allegedly pressured Atlanta’s top federal prosecutor to step down because Trump felt he wasn’t investigating election fraud seriously, but the attorney had reportedly planned to resign for an already lined up a private sector job.

The investigation was launched by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, a Democrat. Trump has decried it as a political witch hunt.

A similar grand jury investigating the Trump Organization was dismissed in New York without ultimately recommending any charges.
