The Russian Federation has issued an arrest warrant for Senator Lindsey Graham after comments he made during his recent trip to Ukraine. Graham had a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the capitol city of Kiev. Zelenskyy’s team released an edited video of the meeting where Graham could be seen praising Ukraine’s military and their efforts to kill Russian soldiers. The edited video made it seem like Graham said that killing Russians is the best money the U.S. has ever spent. But in truth, the comments were made in different parts of the conversation. Zelenskyy, a former actor knows how to use drama to his advantage and in this case, he is pitting America against Russia. You can clearly see the camera cut to a different shot after Graham states that “the Russians are dying.” These tactics are irresponsible and could lead the world into a deeper war.
The Kremlin responded to video by saying that:
“it’s hard to imagine a greater shame for the country than having such senators.”
Russia’s Interior Ministry went on to issue an official arrest warrant for Graham who said he considers as a “badge of honor.”
Graham released a statement is response to the warrant, writing:
“To know that my commitment to Ukraine has drawn the ire of Putin’s regime brings me immense joy. I will continue to stand with and for Ukraine’s freedom until every Russian soldier is expelled from Ukrainian territory,”
“Finally, here’s an offer to my Russian ‘friends’ who want to arrest and try me for calling out the Putin regime as being war criminals: I will submit to jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court if you do.”Come and make your best case. See you in The Hague!”
He also posted the following tweet:
Good news: While I don’t expect to be tried by Russia anytime soon, I found the services of a great lawyer who works cheap. Sen. Blumenthal, my good friend from Connecticut who has been a staunch supporter of Ukraine, has offered to be my lawyer.
Bad news: like every other…

The Russia-Ukraine War is intensifying, and on Monday Moscow was targeted in multiple drone strikes. Ukraine obviously wants to deepen the crisis and drag the U.S. and NATO into a global war with dire consequences.
