Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez jumped into the race to endorse a progressive candidate.

As she attempts to play The Squad’s progressive kingmaker, two of her chosen candidates have fallen to more establishment picks.

In Ohio, Democrat Representative Shontel Brown faced a rematch of a previous special election against Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) chosen far-left candidate Nina Turner.

Brown was endorsed by President Joe Biden late in the game, but enjoyed establishment support before then. Turner was championed by many on the left who want to see more progressive winners.

This is the second candidate she has endorsed that lost their primary. AOC has endorsed progressive candidates in New York, Texas, and many other races across the country.
