On Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s conversation with Joe Biden was picked up by a hot mic. The two stood on an airport runway in New York, and could be heard talking about the Democrats chances in the upcoming midterms. “It looks like the debate didn’t hurt us too much in Pennsylvania as of today. So that’s good,” Schumer could be heard telling the president. But there was one race which the senator was not optimistic about, “That seat, we’re in danger in that seat. We’ll see,” he said.

It was not clear which race Schumer was referring to but one must question how Schumer thinks John Fetterman’s performance did not hurt his chances. Fetterman could barely put together coherent sentences on Tuesday and many voters have already come out saying they don’t believe he is fit to serve.

“The state where we’re going down, though, is Georgia. It’s hard to believe that they will go for Herschel Walker,” Schumer added.

Republicans need to pick up just one seat in order to take a majority in the Senate, which could allow them to stymie much of Biden’s agenda for the rest of his term. which could allow them to stymie much of Biden’s agenda for the rest of his term.
