New polls show that Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is quickly losing her lead to Republican challenger Tudor Dixon. Dixon, a former conservative commentator on weekly program America’s Voice Live, is receiving 44.8% of the likely votes to Whitmer’s 47.8%, which is within the margin of error. In May, Whitmer lead by nearly 37 points. On Friday, Dixon was endorsed by former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard who says the Democrats are “under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness”
In a recent press release for the Daily Caller, Dixon urged voters reject Whitmer:
“Voters of all backgrounds are tired of being crushed by radical liberal politicians and their tone-deaf policies. Families are struggling to make ends meet as they get no relief from Biden-Whitmer’s inflation, rising gas and grocery prices, and skyrocketing violent crime,”
