According to Fox, President Joe Biden recently took out a $250,000 line of credit on his beach house in Rehoboth, Delaware. This action raises several questions, especially in light of ongoing investigations into his son Hunter’s business dealings and Biden’s own alleged document scandal.
Despite the public knowledge of the loan for nearly a month, the White House has provided no explanation regarding its purpose or why the President took it out. When asked directly about the loan, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer and referred the matter to the White House Counsel’s Office, which has also declined to provide any information.
Furthermore, the beach house in question is the same property for which Biden spent more than $500,000 in taxpayer funds to build a wall around to protect himself from outsiders. The wall’s construction coincided with Biden’s public statements canceling the construction of walls on the southern border, started by his predecessor, Donald Trump.
In addition to the loan, Biden is also facing an alleged document scandal, where he was found to have illegally stored classified government documents in his Wilmington, Delaware, garage and at his former Washington office. The FBI has conducted searches of at least four locations, including his two homes in Delaware, his offices in Washington D.C., and the repository of his papers at the University of Delaware. The extent of the classified documents found is yet to be disclosed.
These events coincide with ongoing investigations into Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings and tax evasion, adding further pressure to the Biden administration. The Republican-led House of Representatives has begun ramping up investigations into Hunter’s finances and taxes.
The lack of transparency from the Biden administration regarding the President’s loan and the alleged document scandal is concerning, especially given the significant amount of taxpayer money spent on building a wall around the beach house. The apparent hypocrisy of canceling the construction of a southern border wall while constructing one for his own protection has not gone unnoticed.
As investigations continue to ramp up, it is imperative for the White House to provide clear and concise answers regarding these issues. The American people deserve transparency and accountability from their elected officials.
