Republican Sen. Pat Toomey is retiring, meaning the seat is up for grabs in 2022 and it’s anyone’s for the taking.
More than a dozen Democrats have jumped in the race, including Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, Rep. Conor Lamb (Pa.) and Montgomery County Board of Commissioners Chair Val Arkoosh. On the Republican side, Dr. Mehmet Oz has announced his candidacy for the seat.
