On Thursday, the Supreme Court dealt the Biden administration its biggest loss yet by blocking President Biden’s vaccine mandate.

Background: President Biden previously announced an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) vaccine mandate for private businesses with 100 or more employees. Employees would either have to receive a Covid-19 vaccine or submit to regular testing, businesses found intentionally breaking the order would face fines and other penalties.

The OSHA mandate went into effect on Monday.

President Biden also announced a vaccine mandate for healthcare workers, forcing them to receive the shots.

“The Supreme Court has spoken, confirming what we all knew: Biden’s disastrous mandates are unconstitutional. Biden promised to shut down the virus, not the economy but he has failed miserably on both—and mandates would have further destroyed the economy. We are proud of the Supreme Court for not backing down. No mandates!” Trump said.
