Florida: Rick Scott

Prior to his Senate position, Scott served two terms as the 45th Governor of Florida. While a member of the U.S. Senate Scott has been a part of the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, the Committee on the Budget, and the Special Committee on Aging. In 2020 Senate Republicans selected Scott to lead the National Republican Senatorial Committee for the 2022 campaign cycle.

He has been on the campaign trails for several GOP candidates and has, since the elections, come out to discuss what he thinks went wrong and has hinted at the possibility of taking on Senator McConnell for the Senate Minority Leader position.
